The vision behind Complete Teacher Training Certification Programme is to equip African teachers for global competitiveness.
In the last couple of years, we have embarked on extensive foreign trips to understudy international schools operating different international curricula in different countries of the world.
In the process, we understudied American, British, Indian and Australian systems of education.
In the last one year however, we have visited Finland back to back on numerous trips, in a bid to learn the secrets of educational system of Finland – the country with the best educational system in the world!
One of our major findings is the place of teacher training in sustaining educational standard of any country.
In Finland, their teachers were trusted so much because their teachers were trained so rigorously.
The essence of this certification programme is to complement the efforts of all teacher training institutions in the continent by providing on-the-job training for serving teachers in the classroom.
1. Because many teachers in the classroom in Nigeria today are not trained as teachers from colleges and universities.
2. Because majority of those who were trained as teachers did not get the best of training that is 21st century compliant.

We have ACCA a professional body for accountants who can practice abroad, we have ICAN similarly for accountants who can practice in Nigeria. For teachers in Nigeria we have TRCN, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, what exactly are CCTC certification meant for?
CTTC is not a certification programme by professional associations or by government.
It is designed as an on-the-job training programme that is meant for Continuous Professional Development of the classroom teachers in Africa on emerging and evolving issues in the field of Education.
You can encourage them by helping them to make part, half or full payment for the course.
You may also introduce the concept of CPD (Continuous Professional Development) as a policy for all the teachers in your school. That way, it will be easy to on-board your teachers for the programme as part of their CPD requirement for the term.
It is an online course. Each teacher will attend the training at his/her own pace but the training portal will be opened for only 31 days
The teachers can choose their own days and timing based on their individual conveniences.
A teacher may choose to finish the course in one week while another may choose two weeks or more but it won’t stretch beyond 4 weeks.

There are contemporary, current, evolving and emerging trends in educational practice which requires regular updating and continuous professional development (CPD). This is the gap CTTC seeks in African educational system.
Complete Teacher Training Course (CTTC) is an online training certification programme for teachers which is spread across 3 levels. Each Level contains 15 courses each.
No teacher can pass through these courses and remain the same professionally.
Best practices all over the world and our immediate challenges as a continent have been factored into the CTTC curriculum to come up with this course which is about the most relevant professional development programmes for classroom teachers in Africa.
It is one of the most holistic and the most comprehensive practical teacher certification courses in our time.
One Level comprises 15 courses and each course costs N5,000 ($10) per teacher, bringing it to a total cost of N75,000 ($150) for one Level of 15 courses.
However, during CTTC Promo, the cost can be reduced to as much as N10,000 ($20) per teacher for a Level of 15 courses!
1. Because the knowledge will be acquired primarily and directly by the teacher.
2. Because the certificate will be issued in the name of teacher and not of the school.
3. Because the value which will be added to the teacher will bring a major boost to his career either for promotion exercises or for job interviews.
4. Because if the teacher leaves the school tomorrow, he will not drop the knowledge acquired or the certificate obtained behind. The knowledge becomes his or hers for life.
However, for the sake of ensuring uniformity in the standard of education in each school, the school owner/administrator should encourage and ensure that every teacher in the entire school system participates.
The school, the management, the students, the country and the continent will be better for it ultimately.

For individual registration, certificates will be issued at the end of each course.
For Group Registration, certificates will be issued at the end of 15 courses which make up one Level!
Each certificate will reflect all the courses that were taken during the programme.

But registration for Bonanza Package has to be concluded by middle of July latest.
July is a busy month for schools and most especially for the teachers – terminal examinations, marking, grading, reporting, valedictory service, graduation ceremony and other end of year activities.
It is our belief that the work load of teachers will be relatively lighter in the month of August to be able to accommodate the training programme.
