The term Special Needs in Education refer to any of any of various difficulties (such as a physical, emotional, behavioral, or learning disability or impairment) that causes an individual to require additional or specialized services or accommodations
Special needs education is designed to facilitate the learning of individuals who, for a wide variety of reasons, require additional support, and/or adaptive pedagogical methods in order to participate and meet learning objectives in an educational program.
In this course, the teachers shall be trained practically on how to identify, diagnose and care for the following specific special needs:
ADHD
Anxiety.
Asperger’s Syndrome.
Autism
Autistic Spectrum Disorder
Attention Syndrome Disorder
Attachment Disorder
Dyscalculia
Dysgraphia.
Dyslexia
Dyspraxia
Hearing impairment
Oppositional defiant disorder
Visual Impairment
